Just got home to Hartland, Michigan with my new Ram 1500 truck. Sill can't believe the deal that Myhopscotch.com was able to get me. Over the past two months I have been to 4 dealerships trying to workout a deal to trade in my 2 year old truck and purchase a new one. None of them offered me what I owed on my current vehicle and, if I wanted the discounts from the manufacturer I had to finance it through Chrysler whose interest rate was several points higher than a Credit Union.
The dealerships were also very reluctant to come down very far from the sticker price. I also spent quite a bit of time online trying to find out the average price people pay for these trucks.
